These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thenarrativeacademy.com (the “Site”). Narrative Academy is a brand operated by Chris Ford, doing business as The Narrative Companies, based in North Carolina, United States (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in any unauthorized way.

Students and guardians

Our program supports students aged 16–21. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms and submit any forms or applications on your behalf. By submitting information about a student, you confirm you are that student’s parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to do so.

Our services

The Site is informational. It describes our coaching and placement programs but is not itself an offer or contract for services. Any enrollment is governed by a separate written program agreement, which sets out the specific terms, fees, and any guarantee. Nothing on the Site is a guarantee of admission, employment, or any particular outcome.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, design, logos, and the Narrative StorySelling™ framework and related materials — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without our permission.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (for example, form processing and booking tools). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of those third parties.

Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Nothing on the Site is legal, financial, or other professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
